In an e-mail from Pat Featherstone at Soil for Life dated 6 February 2008: -

'Have just spoken to Nettie and she is so proud. She approached the school principal today and offered him veggies for the aftercare.

He's thrilled and so tomorrow the children will have their first real meal from their garden - 5kg beans, 3 kg beetroot and 3 kg squashes.

This is after what they have sold in De Doorns and to the teaching staff. I'm so proud of them!'
