Thatu's support during 2008 and 2009 will enable them to continue their training and support and to expand into two new gardening sites over the next two years.

The planned end results include income generated to support the employment of at least three people, a nursery with a trained nursery person, and food for the school's soup kitchen and preserves.

All this could provide the town with an ongoing resource centre, including a food kitchen and 'farm stall'.
